About the role

The Sales Manager at Imperial Dade is responsible for setting sales goals, ensuring team training and development, and building strong relationships with key customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute sales goals for the area
  • Forecast and develop annual sales quotas
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and expense reduction
  • Stay current with new trends, economic indicators, and competitor activity
  • Select, recruit, coach, and counsel team members to ensure strong results
  • Partner with the team to nurture and develop new customer opportunities
  • Manage, develop, coach, counsel, and motivate the sales team
  • Educate the sales team through regular meetings, seminars, and training

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience (Jan/San or Food Service)
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent strategic & creative problem-solving skills
  • Local geographic market knowledge

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a team effectively
  • Experience in Jan/San or Food Service sales
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitors
