About The Role
The Sales Manager leads a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives focused on growing market share in the enterprise SaaS space. This role is responsible for driving revenue velocity, coaching reps on complex sales cycles, and optimizing pipeline conversion metrics. Operating in a hybrid structure in Seattle, the role acts as a strategic bridge between executive leadership and the frontline sales team. Success is measured by team quota attainment, pipeline health, and the continuous professional development of individual team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and scale a team of 6-8 quota-carrying enterprise and mid-market account executives
- Conduct weekly 1:1 pipeline reviews, forecast meetings, and live call coaching sessions to improve win rates and contract values
- Design and execute outbound prospecting strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales operations teams
- Analyze weekly sales performance metrics in Salesforce and Outreach to identify bottleneck areas in the sales funnel
- Participate directly in high-value negotiation cycles and customer-facing presentations to help close key accounts
- Design performance improvement plans and career development pathways to retain top sales talent
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years in a direct management or team lead capacity
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team-wide quota targets in a fast-paced technology environment
- Deep expertise in modern sales tech stacks, including Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong, and ZoomInfo
- Strong command of value-based selling methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of the Sale
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate CRM data into actionable sales strategies
- Bonus: Experience managing hybrid/distributed sales teams and an active network within the Pacific Northwest technology ecosystem
