Sales Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Partnering closely with the Director of Sales, you will help drive sales performance, oversee daily sales operations, and foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your leadership career while working alongside the Director of Sales to develop the skills and experience needed to pursue future Sales Director opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of sales professionals, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and exceptional performance.
- Serve as a trusted leadership partner to the Director of Sales, assuming responsibility for sales office operations and team performance.
- Drive excellence across all pre-sales activities and cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships to deliver an exceptional experience for prospective residents, residents, and their families from first impression through move-in.
- Champion and execute strategic sales initiatives that strengthen Priority List growth and accelerate the sales pipeline.
- Drive operational excellence through effective sales process management, performance tracking, and continuous coaching.
- Model and promote Erickson's One Team leadership philosophy, helping cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and key business indicators to identify opportunities, drive results, and support informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- A proactive, growth-oriented leadership style with a drive to deliver results and elevate team performance.
- Aspiration and readiness to grow into a future Sales Director role through demonstrated leadership, business acumen, and a commitment to continuous development.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience and 1 year of leadership or people management experience.
- Ability to influence, inspire, and build credibility with team members, prospects, and organizational leaders.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales metrics and translate insights into action.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Pay
$85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus generous commissions and bonus.
