About the role
A Sales Manager will work and train under the supervision of our Regional Manager. The role includes branch leadership, operations, P&L responsibilities, sales training, inventory management, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, and develop all direct reports to ensure operational efficiency, service, quality, and cost-effective management of resources
- P&L responsibilities to include monthly review & budgeting
- Become an expert on our sales training framework to develop and train the sales team
- Be accessible to the field sales team to assist with closing procedures and answer questions
- Compare warehouse monthly stock status vs company system inventory
- Review, analyze, and evaluate weekly, monthly, & annual performance
- Foster an environment where safety comes first, and all staff strictly adhere to company operating standards
- Partner with the Production Manager to ensure all installation and service commitments are met on time
- Ensure outstanding customer service practices for your team and drive continual customer service excellence
- Develop a winning team mindset and do it now culture in which all direct reports act with integrity, respect each other and report to the customer
Requirements
- 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple teams
- 5 years of sales or sales training experience
- 3 years of Home Improvement experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- Must have basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be a problem solver who takes a proactive approach to improve services
- P&L experience strongly preferred
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data strongly preferred
Qualifications
Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
