Sales Manager

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead, encourage, motivate, and develop the sales team to maximize performance
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly sales goals are achieved
  • Monitor daily sales activity and ensure all RFQs are responded to promptly
  • Lead daily morning sales meetings and communicate company objectives, priorities, and performance updates
  • Hire, onboard, and train new sales staff with approval from upper management
  • Track and manage all pending sales orders to ensure timely follow-up and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order-related issues and customer escalations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and long-term customer relationships
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Shipping, and Executive Management to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reporting within the company's CRM system
  • Uphold DSC Trading's culture of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of aviation parts sales experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of sales management or supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Experience with aviation industry platforms such as PartsBase, ILS, or similar systems is preferred
