Role and Responsibilities
- Lead, encourage, motivate, and develop the sales team to maximize performance
- Ensure monthly and quarterly sales goals are achieved
- Monitor daily sales activity and ensure all RFQs are responded to promptly
- Lead daily morning sales meetings and communicate company objectives, priorities, and performance updates
- Hire, onboard, and train new sales staff with approval from upper management
- Track and manage all pending sales orders to ensure timely follow-up and customer satisfaction
- Serve as the primary point of contact for order-related issues and customer escalations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and long-term customer relationships
- Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Shipping, and Executive Management to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate sales records and reporting within the company's CRM system
- Uphold DSC Trading's culture of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of aviation parts sales experience required
- Minimum 2 years of sales management or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote)
- Experience with aviation industry platforms such as PartsBase, ILS, or similar systems is preferred
