Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through new national account acquisition in the commercial door market
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients across multiple verticals, including construction, retail, and industrial sectors
- Work collaboratively with internal Sales Operations and Project Management teams throughout the full project lifecycle
- Present Clopay’s value proposition to contractors, architects, facility managers, and procurement teams
- Create and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and product solutions
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and support the growth of existing accounts
- Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings to stay ahead in the market
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline, activity, and account progress
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of outside sales experience in the commercial door, access systems, or related building materials industry
- Proven track record in national account management and project-based sales
- Managing current clients as well as creating and building a book of business from the group up
- Experience selling through contractor networks and directly to commercial end-users
- Familiarity with construction documents, architectural plans, and project timelines
- Experience with dock doors; hoods, shelters, bumpers, restraints, dock levelers, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales and customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
- Base salary between $80,000 - $85,000 annually
