What You’ll Do
- Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and execute short- and long-term sales plans to hit aggressive growth targets across retail, club, and foodservice.
- Drive Revenue: Oversee all phases of sales, from lead generation to closing deals with national and regional accounts.
- Buyer & Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and distributors to expand placement and maximize sales opportunities.
- Sales Leadership: Manage and mentor a sales team and external broker network, fostering accountability, performance, and results.
- Budget & Forecasting: Own sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting; deliver accurate projections and ensure ROI-driven decisions.
- Market Expansion: Identify new sales channels, demographics, and promotional opportunities to strengthen CFD’s market leadership.
- Brand Representation: Represent CFD at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, showcasing our products and expanding visibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to align sales strategies with company objectives.
What You Bring
- Proven Track Record: 5–7 years in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a Sales Manager role, consistently delivering growth.
- Industry Experience: Background in the food industry—preferably specialty frozen, retail grocery, club stores, or foodservice.
- Leadership: Experience leading high-performing sales teams and managing broker networks.
- Relationship Builder: Strong negotiation skills with proven success meeting with buyers/category managers and closing national/regional deals.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop innovative sales initiatives, product positioning, and pricing strategies that win market share.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
