Sales Manager
About the role
The Workplace Technologies Division of Canon USA is seeking high-performing Sales Managers to lead market growth in Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. This role reports directly to an Area Director and requires a strategic, field-first approach to coaching and managing a sales team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sales representatives in driving adoption of Canon’s technology portfolio, transitioning clients from paper-based workflows to secure, automated digital systems.
- Manage a territory or account quota, ensuring 100% achievement through active team management, pipeline reviews, and resource mobilization.
- Establish and implement a consistent, repeatable sales process to drive predictable revenue, conduct regular monthly plans and reviews, and perform formal performance evaluations.
- Act as a strategic bridge between organizational leadership and the field, translating corporate objectives into daily market execution.
- Select, develop, and evaluate subordinate sales representatives, facilitating continuous training to maintain proficiency in product portfolio, promotional knowledge, and modern tech-based workflow consulting.
- Manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring territory and account goals are met, and responsibly manage all assigned company assets (such as laptops and promo materials).
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of related sales or sales management experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and managing high-performing teams.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated capability in meeting operational objectives, mobilizing local resources, and assisting in the development and execution of sales processes and procedures.
- An in-depth understanding of organizational objectives, with a strong ability to interact regularly with peer managers and executives across the organization.
- Proven experience in interviewing, hiring, conducting structured performance reviews, and developing team members through structured mentorship and hands-on guidance.
Qualifications
- Strong desire and drive to support your team directly in the field on customer appointments, actively developing strategy and driving the daily sales pipeline.
- Tactical leadership skills to balance field coaching with structured sales management processes to build a high-performance culture.
- Experience in leading and managing a sales team, including selecting, developing, and evaluating subordinate sales representatives.
- Ability to manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring territory and account goals are met, and responsibly managing all assigned company assets.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, peers, and senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends and develop strategies to meet sales goals.

Benefits
Attractive compensation package including a base salary range of $61,800-$92,520 annually, with the potential for incentive compensation up to $105,835 annually. Additional benefits include a transportation allowance.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $61,800-$92,520 annually. This role is also eligible for an additional transportation allowance.
