Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Account Executives and Sales Representatives.
- Set sales goals, monitor performance, and conduct regular pipeline and forecast reviews.
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key and strategic accounts.
- Partner with customers to understand packaging needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support complex or high-value negotiations and pricing strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Drive new customer acquisition and expand penetration within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support lead generation efforts.
- Promote full product portfolio including corrugated packaging, protective packaging, custom solutions, and value-added services.
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and service excellence.
- Align sales activities with inventory, pricing, and margin goals.
- Address and resolve customer escalations promptly and professionally.
- Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Analyze sales data to optimize territory coverage and account prioritization.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in packaging distribution or related industrial markets.
- 2–5+ years of sales leadership or people management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations.

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $140,000- $160,000 per year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
