About the Role

GALLO is excited to invite passionate individuals to apply for our 6-8 week Sales Internship Program. This unique opportunity is designed to immerse you in our dynamic Sales organization, offering hands-on experience through job shadowing and training across various roles and projects. You will have the chance to engage with different facets of our business, collaborate with management, and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

During the internship, you will rotate through key commercial assignments, starting as a Field Sales Representative, where you'll gain insights into retail sales, merchandising, and management techniques. As you progress, you'll work alongside a Market Development Manager to understand brand objectives and training roles, and with a Business Intelligence Manager to explore strategic business facets like new product launches and pricing strategies. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to learn from managers in other areas such as Spirits, Fine Wine, and Shopper Marketing. Your journey will culminate in completing a project tailored to your interests, which you'll present to our management team.

This internship is offered in multiple locations, including Boston MA, Indianapolis IN, Milwaukee WI, Minneapolis MN, Tampa FL, Detroit MI, Washington DC, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, New Jersey, Texas, New York, California, and New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through key commercial assignments, including Field Sales Representative roles.
  • Gain insights into retail sales, merchandising, and management techniques.
  • Work alongside a Market Development Manager to understand brand objectives and training roles.
  • Collaborate with a Business Intelligence Manager to explore strategic business facets like new product launches and pricing strategies.
  • Learn from managers in areas such as Spirits, Fine Wine, and Shopper Marketing.
  • Complete a project tailored to your interests and present findings to the management team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree; OR have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Required to travel up to 40% of the time to perform job duties.

Qualifications

  • Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated teamwork experience.

Pay

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Schedule
