Job Summary
The Sales Lead – Food & Beverage (F&B) Locations provides exceptional guest service while supporting daily food, beverage, and retail operations. This role leads team members to deliver memorable guest experiences and achieve sales performance goals.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Leads by example to deliver exceptional guest service and model company standards of performance and behavior.
Supports Store Director F&B and Assistant Store Director F&B in leading the sales and café team to ensure optimal guest experiences.
Provides real-time coaching and guidance to team members during shifts.
Resolves guest service issues in partnership with store leadership.
Builds strong relationships with team members to support collaboration and business results.
Helps create a positive learning environment by modeling company core values.
Aids leadership with daily communication, task delegation, and shift-level accountability.
Fosters partner relationships to support business initiatives and growth.
Actively pursues opportunities for personal development and leadership growth.
Complies with all company personnel policies and standards.
Guest Experience And Food & Beverage Service
Delivers outstanding guest service across food, beverage, and retail areas.
Supports daily café operations including beverage preparation and food service.
Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Shares product knowledge and coffee expertise to enhance guest experiences.
Maintains full knowledge of the venue, offerings, and programs.
Ensures a clean, organized, and safe environment for guests and team members.
Demonstrates the company’s service values in every guest interaction.
Business and Financial Results
Supports store leadership in achieving sales, per-capita, and purchase-with-purchase goals.
Achieves individual sales and performance expectations.
Encourages suggestive selling and product knowledge to increase sales.
Identifies opportunities to maximize store performance and guest engagement.
Maintains accurate cash handling procedures and ensures completion of register transactions.
Sustains inventory accuracy and operational efficiency through proper use of POS systems and operational tools.
Operations and Merchandising
Performs all opening and closing procedures, including cash and safe balancing.
Ensures store readiness including stocking, cleaning, and store recovery.
Supports merchandising standards and visual presentation directives.
Maintains appealing displays for food, beverage, and retail merchandise.
Participates in company initiatives and ensures execution at the store level.
Completes required training related to product knowledge, operations, and merchandising.
Conducts or supports monthly health department readiness checklists.
Responds to communication and operational needs in a timely manner.
Ensures compliance with all loss prevention procedures.
Guest and Partner Engagement
Demonstrates the company’s service culture in all interactions.
Ensures all team members are delivering optimal guest service.
Maintains compliance with company and partner dress code guidelines.
Participates in regional and company philanthropic initiatives when applicable.
Qualifications
Prior food & beverage, café, or barista experience preferred.
Retail leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience strongly valued.
Passion for hospitality, coffee culture, and guest engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced food and retail environment.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle keyholder responsibilities.
Experience using POS systems and operational tools preferred.
Food handler’s certification preferred (where required).
Must be 21 years of age for liquor sales (where applicable).
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, and active engagement throughout shifts. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds. Occasional reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or balancing. Ability to perform opening and closing procedures requiring bending and lifting.
Pay
$22/hr
