Sales Internship - Summer 2027

About the role

SC Johnson is seeking a Sales Intern who will directly impact the business while gaining valuable experience in the consumer products space. The intern will receive a core project assignment requiring cross-functional support from sales, marketing, and customer marketing teams. This internship provides insight into how a leading CPG company executes in the market and is based in Rogers, AR or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess current business challenges within our customer base to uncover actionable insights.
• Demonstrate creativity through shopper insights, selling tactics, and unique perspectives along the shopper’s path to purchase.
• Apply strategic thinking to align project work with broader company strategy and execution.
• Present findings, results, and recommendations to leadership at the culmination of the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
• Available to complete the internship from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to develop internal and external relationships.
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, or business is preferred.
• CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience is a plus.
• Leadership involvement in school or extracurricular activities.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, for a 12-week summer internship from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027. This position is not eligible for remote work.
