About the role
The Florida Everblades Hockey Club is seeking passionate individuals to join our sales team as a sales intern for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. As a member of our organization, you will play a key role in sales and game experiences for our season ticket holders at Hertz Arena.
Job Description
This internship will provide hands-on sales experience in ticket sales, customer service, networking, and a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with daily operations, including prospecting, outreach, and account management
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and networking initiatives
- Support lead generation efforts by researching and identifying potential clients and group sales opportunities
- Contribute to revenue growth by helping sell ticket packages, group outings, and promotional offers
- Shadow sales representatives during client meetings and game day interactions to gain real-world experience
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate client and prospect information
- Help execute sales campaigns, promotions, and special offers to drive ticket sales
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to fan inquiries and assisting with ticket purchases
- Participate in game day sales activities, including table setups, fan engagement, and in-arena promotions
- Track and report on sales activities, leads, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with marketing and game presentation teams to align sales initiatives with fan experience efforts
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in sports management or sales
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a passion for sports and entertainment
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during game days
- Availability to work office hours during the week (5-10 hours)
- Customer service experience or prior sales experience
