Sales Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

Join us in our Omaha, NE location for our 10-week summer program for an internship opportunity that will give you invaluable insights into the insurance industry while you explore your own talents and interests.

Responsibilities

• Aiding in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Building relationships with prospective clients
• Collaborating across departments to deliver value-driven proposals
• Supporting full-time sales team members in contributing to company profitability
• Attending sales meetings
• Attending community activities & association meetings to promote Holmes Murphy
• Preparing and delivering proactive sales presentations to leaders and mentors
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution
• Prior work experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus
• Examples of prior majors’ interns have pursued: Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance, and more
