Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. The 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.

A Sales Intern at Medline will work closely with the Sales Division team members and will be exposed to multiple areas of the business, including sales, marketing, product divisions and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow experienced sales professionals and learn sales techniques
  • Assist in execution of product evaluations and conversions
  • Collaborate and build effective relationships with partners (Field Sales Reps, Sales Management, and Product Divisions)
  • Attend mentoring and networking opportunities with sales leadership
  • Study market opportunities and develop business plans
  • Attend sales training sessions with other Medline sales professionals

Qualifications

  • Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
  • Previous internship or work experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and/or business preferred
  • Ability to travel for field sales training and job shadowing (within state and out of state)
  • Active interest in the Healthcare industry preferred
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills required
  • Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
  • Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bias toward action and results oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

Pay

$23.25 - $33.75 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
