Sales Hunter – Neukundenakquise
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Sales Account Executive to identify, acquire, and win new customers. In this role, you will lead the sales process from initial customer acquisition to contract signing. The focus is on pipeline building, identifying customer needs, and leading strategic sales conversations. The ideal candidate has close industry relationships, a strong personal network of C-level and VP-level contacts, and a proven track record in complex IT and digital transformation deals driven primarily by independent outreach and relationship building.
This position is based in our Houston office with a nationwide customer base. Remote candidates will be considered on an exceptional basis.
Responsibilities
- New logo pursuit through personal network: Leverage an established network of enterprise contacts to generate meetings and opportunities across the manufacturing industry. Independently identify and pursue new prospects through personal connections, referrals, networking events, and targeted relationship development. Serve as your own "sales engine" by driving all early-stage business development activities.
- Full enterprise sales cycle ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle from first contact to contract signing: prospecting, qualification, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Create tailored strategic account capture plans based solely on your own research, experience, and industry knowledge. Position T-Systems' portfolio in cloud, SAP, and managed services.
- Market positioning and relationship development: Represent T-Systems at conferences, panels, and industry events to increase visibility, with the understanding that participation and PR are primarily self-directed. Develop compelling, high-impact value propositions without extensive marketing support. Use personal credibility, industry expertise, and relationship capital to open doors and shorten sales cycles.
- Internal collaboration and deal leadership: Work with solutions architects and delivery experts to craft impactful proposals and solutions. Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM updates. Bring market intelligence back into the organization to refine vertical strategies.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise IT services sales experience, particularly in roles requiring independent prospecting.
- Proven track record of winning new logos without internal sales, SDRs, or marketing-generated leads.
- Strong personal network of enterprise leaders in at least one priority industry: manufacturing.
- Ability to initiate and close complex deals (mid-six-figure to seven-figure ACV) through relationships and self-directed outreach.
- Solid understanding of at least two of the following: cloud, SAP, managed services, and digital transformation.
- High autonomy, resilience, and a disciplined, self-driven approach to pipeline generation.
Preferred qualifications
- Established network in the Houston region or other major U.S. hubs.
- Experience selling to global or multinational organizations.
- Previous experience in lean marketing environments with limited pre-sales support.
Success metrics
- Number of new logo meetings generated directly through personal networking and outreach.
- New logo wins and annual contract value secured.
- Speed of pipeline creation.
- Quality of business opportunities and strategic alignment with T-Systems' portfolio.
