Sales GIS Analyst

About the role

As a Sales GIS Analyst, you will support multiple internal and external customers, assist the Sales and Sales Engineering teams, and create data necessary for the Costing and Pricing teams.

Responsibilities

• Use Salesforce to track account progress and update customer maps related to specific accounts.
• Create presentation maps using Google Earth to display design information for customers.
• Geocode and verify integrity of data in a timely manner, using Excel and Microsoft 365 products.
• Adapt to design process changes and new software applications to adhere to and improve the quality of work.
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or other related fields and a minimum of 2 years’ experience with GIS; OR a GIS certificate with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in GIS.
• Proficient in ESRI’s ArcGIS products, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Online.
• Proficient in data management, analysis, and interpretation.
• Understanding of network design and maintenance as it relates to telecommunications and fiber optics.
• Knowledge of small cell design and implementation.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• SQL and Python knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

• Hours involving overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Keyboarding and typing.
• Ability to read effectively from a computer screen, sampling device, and/or a paper copy.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.
