Sales Fellowship
Tenstreet is a growing, fast-paced, Software as a Service (SaaS) business providing solutions for the transportation industry, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together we’re disrupting the ways in which companies market to, recruit, onboard, and manage drivers. We’re a team of overachievers who excel in execution, collaboration, and problem solving. The real perk of working at Tenstreet is being part of a community that values your work, encourages life-long learning, and fosters a supportive culture.
About the role
The Sales Development Representative Fellowship is a paid 16-week in-person (Tulsa) fellowship that trains and up-skills candidates passionate about sales in technology. The Fellowship is an opportunity to create a pathway into a career as a Sales Development Representative in technology sales for exceptional individuals who might not have taken a traditional employment or academic path. Our goal is to train and hire exceptional talent while giving them access to hands-on technology sales development training in a collaborative in-person environment at our downtown Tulsa office. During the Fellowship, you will be considered for a full-time Sales Development Representative position at Tenstreet.
Candidate profiles
The Fellowship is designed for the following general candidate profiles:
- You want to transform your career: You have worked in fields outside of sales and technology and are looking to make a change (e.g., retail, hospitality, education, military veterans). This could be your "second act."
- You do not have a degree and it’s been a barrier to sales opportunities.
- You have an associate's or bachelor's degree and think sales could be a long-term career for you, but you don’t have experience outside of school and internships.

Application tips
If you want to be in sales, the first step is selling yourself and presenting your experience thoughtfully. Here are some tips to help you secure a phone interview:
- Make sure your resume tells your unique story. Most resumes don’t tell a story—they are lists of job duties and read like a job description. Don’t send us your job description. Tell us how you added value to the role. For example:
- Cold called 40 prospects per day.
- Hit and exceeded quota for 11 out of 12 months last year.
- Led the team in closed deals.
- Avoid listing job duties alone, such as:
- Outbound Sales
- Prospecting
- Scheduled demos
- Create a format that is easy to follow, with your most recent experience at the top. Use bullet points instead of long paragraphs.
- Submit your resume in .pdf or .doc format. Resumes formatted by Indeed, AI, or other sources may decrease your chances of moving forward in our process.
- Include all your experience—don’t minimize it to fit on one page if it doesn’t allow enough room. The length of your resume depends on how much experience you have (1 page is great, 2 pages are also great).
