About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role is critical to our mission of improving consumers' financial health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze financial trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including executive leadership and board members.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and adjust strategies as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with financial institutions and fintech companies.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of credit scoring and risk management principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Experience with financial modeling tools such as Bloomberg, Microsoft Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and ratios.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
