About the role
Capelli Sport, a global multi-sports brand, seeks a Sales Executive based anywhere in the United States. The position specializes in selling Capelli Sport teamwear match kits. The company is headquartered in New York City and New Jersey.
Primary Duties
- Maintaining or acquiring specific data on clubs and/or teams in focused territory to implement into customer retention software (excel and/or Salesforce).
- Sales is a team sport, collaborating with sales managers and executives to share network and contacts outside of assigned territory.
- Participating in events, organized tournaments, industry conferences, and other Soccer events to engage in new business development opportunities.
- Directly engaging in sales operations and tasks that may impact current or prospective customers, such as profitability analysis, presentation proposals, contract creation, and post-sale relationship management.
- Adapting to new sport categories to increase value and versatility to the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred;
- 5+ years of outside sporting goods, particularly apparel sales experience. Preference to be in Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball/Softball products.
- 5+ years of teamwear sales experience;
- Proficient in MOS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Excellent financial literacy skills required;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Work-flow management skills. Clear understanding of responsibilities, reporting, data-driven culture, and prioritization skills.
Additional
- Strong knowledge of the Soccer, Volleyball, or Baseball/Softball landscape in North America;
- Ready to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, to meet expected sales targets and client demands.
