Responsibilities
- Drive growth across your territory by building strong relationships with physicians, clinicians, and key decision-makers in hospitals, surgery centers, and emergency settings
- Lead product demos and trainings, expand adoption of airway management solutions, and represent KARL STORZ at industry events—all while consistently exceeding sales targets
- Manage and grow territory sales, meeting or exceeding assigned quotas
- Conduct product demonstrations and in-service training for hospital and clinical staff
- Develop and execute strategic plans for target accounts
- Respond to leads, maintain customer relationships, and report sales activity
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conventions
- Collaborate with internal sales and support teams
- Manage territory expenses and company assets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 2–4 years of sales experience (medical device preferred)
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
- Willingness to travel daily and handle equipment (up to 35 lbs)
- Must reside within the New Orleans territory
- Ability to travel daily and work independently in a fast-paced medical sales environment
Work Environment
- Highly field-based role (30–40+ hours/week traveling locally within ~100 miles)
- Frequent visits to hospitals, surgery centers, ERs, and physician offices
- Regular presence in clinical and procedural areas, including operating rooms
- Requires adherence to strict safety and infection-control protocols
Pay
Base, plus commission plus bonus. ($72,000 base + OTE $140,000 target)
