Sales Engineer, Commercial Building Services Data Centers

As our new Sales Engineer - Data Centers Commercial Business, you will be supporting relationship building and growing sales within the Data Center Vertical.
Responsibilities
- Create deep expertise in Grundfos products, applications, and solutions relevant to the data center market, serving as the go-to technical resource for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Communicate the Grundfos value proposition to data center customers, collaborating closely with the data center team to convert technical advantages into sales wins
- Manage and grow new and existing customer accounts to increase data center market share and share of wallet across the US and Canada
- Register and manage opportunities and revenue pipeline in the global CRM tool, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with company guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, end users, and internal stakeholders including CSSC, Operations, and Project Managers
- Maintain awareness of emerging HVAC and control-system technologies in the data-center sector to provide informed, strategic recommendations tailored to each client’s operational and efficiency goals
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or other technical discipline, in lieu of degree
- 3-5 years of industry experience
- 3-5 years of industrial, commercial, or municipal sales experience or equivalent
- Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in engineered solutions or industrial products
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, channel management, and partner relationships
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Data center industry experience
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, pumping applications, and building automation/controls
- Experience with CRM platforms and business analytics tools

Pay
The salary range for this position is $68,400.00 - $105,000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
Schedule
Up to 25 days of travel per year.
