Position Summary
The Sales Director is a visionary leader responsible for driving membership and business growth through agent and agency recruitment, career partnerships, market development, and community engagement. This role drives business development through relationship-building, industry events, community engagement, and innovative growth strategies. The role equips agents with training, tools, technology, and support needed to grow their business across Medicare, ACA, Life, Supplemental, and Group insurance products. You’ll help create an environment where collaboration fuels measurable results.
Requirements
- Three (3) + years of experience in the healthcare or Medicare industry, with a proven track record of managing insurance agents, agency relationships, and driving business growth.
- Previous broker or agency experience is preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Active Health Insurance License is required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. Creole a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with agent partners.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively present ACA, Medicare, Life, and Ancillary insurance products.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned market, including overnight travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Innovative, results-driven, and focused on achieving growth objectives.
- Must live in the market area.
Compensation
Base Salary: $85,000.00 annually
Additional Compensation: Quarterly performance-based incentive
