Sales Director, Healthcare IT

About the role

The ideal candidate will lead the healthcare sales organization, driving growth across strategic provider and health plan accounts. Key responsibilities include winning new business, expanding key accounts, developing pipeline, and mentoring account executives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition and strategic account growth across providers and health plans.
  • Develop executive relationships with C-level executives such as CIOs, CTOs, CMIOs, CFOs, Chief AI Officers, and digital leaders.
  • Sell UST's healthcare portfolio, including Epic Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization, Agentic AI & Responsible AI, Epic-at-Payer (EPP/Tapestry), Data Modernization & Managed Services.
  • Lead large transformation pursuits, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Coach and mentor account executives, support pursuit teams, and improve pipeline quality and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Epic, and strategic partners to generate joint pipeline.
  • Partner with consulting, delivery, and solution teams to develop differentiated client solutions.
  • Represent UST at executive briefings and healthcare industry events.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of enterprise healthcare sales experience.
  • Proven success closing multi-million-dollar healthcare transformation, AI, cloud, Epic, or managed services engagements.
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales teams and complex pursuits.
  • Strong relationships within provider or payer organizations.
  • Experience working with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Epic, or similar ecosystem partners.
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing healthcare executive relationships.
  • Experience with Epic/EMR, cloud modernization/hyperscalers, managed services, healthcare AI, and data platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Schedule

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
