Sales Development Representative II
About the role
The sales development rep is a key member of a sales team focused on small and medium market businesses. The role involves prospecting new business opportunities, conducting research, and developing value propositions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and vet new business opportunities through background research and discussions with decision-makers.
- Analyze customer needs and utilize Suggested Calls and other data-driven reports to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with the sales team and manager to discuss joint sales opportunities and support new/incremental revenue.
- Manage a healthy pipeline of leads, complete successful calls, and schedule opportunity handoff calls.
- Navigate internal processes to coordinate with various internal teams for a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to address issues and implement solutions for revenue growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business-to-business sales.
- Four years of relevant business-to-business sales experience, or one year of the company's business-to-business sales experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Product knowledge and ability to qualify leads effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work independently.
- Experience leveraging technology and digital tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Quantifiable and measurable sales achievements.
- Experience using digital tools and CRM systems.
- Collaborative skills across multiple functions.
Benefits
