About the role
RFgen Software is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join its growing team. The SDR will focus on outreach and communication with prospects and customers, using relationship-building skills to identify customer prospects ready to discuss their business problems. The role leverages a world-class set of enterprise sales tools to identify new opportunities for the sales team through cold outreach and marketing-qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop both target account leads and inbound marketing leads to create sales-ready meetings and opportunities.
- Execute target market penetration, including calling C-suite executives and front-line managers, social media outreach, following up on marketing-generated leads, webinar and event follow-up, creative campaigns, and door-opener outreach.
- Interact with prospects daily via telephone, video, LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
- Distribute opportunities to appropriate sales representatives, educating each rep as necessary about the opportunity.
- Effectively handle and overcome prospect objections with confidence.
- Become a trusted resource and develop productive relationships with prospects.
- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that align with our core values and culture.
- Strategize the tactical execution of go-to-market plans with Regional Account Representatives.
- Leverage ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator platforms to support advanced prospecting of target accounts.
- Use the SalesLoft platform to organize and facilitate daily outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn activities.
- Identify new business opportunities within the existing customer base to uncover additional revenue opportunities.
- Maintain alignment with the Marketing team to build the value proposition and remain relevant to prospects and customers.
- Create a feedback loop on what works and share market intelligence gathered daily from buyers.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree.
- 2-3 years of customer service or sales development experience, including high-volume customer and/or sales prospect outreach.
- Natural affinity for meeting, talking, and communicating with new people without fear of rejection.
- High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities.
- Excellent phone-based sales and customer service skills.
- A great "can-do" attitude and desire to learn professional sales.
- A desire to be part of a great team and continue learning and adapting.
- Discipline to maintain high activity levels.
- A competitive mindset focused on achieving goals.
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications, Salesforce.com, and LinkedIn is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- SDR experience.
- Experience with SalesLoft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Prior sales, call center, door-to-door, or customer service experience.
- Professional work experience or familiarity with a corporate office work environment.
