Responsibilities
- Sales Development Execution and Goal Achievement (40%)
- Achieve individual and teamwide output goals, meetings set attainment, and pipeline generation.
- Oversee creation and execution of tactics to meet established goals.
- Ingest new target lists and deploy industry-specific sequences within standard timelines.
- Build alliances with strategic firmwide resources and industry leaders.
- Utilize data-driven tactics and reporting to track team and individual performance.
- Identify high performance and underperformance areas using pre-determined metrics.
- Analyze historical data to identify and mitigate cyclical down-periods.
- Training, Learning, Coaching, and Development (40%)
- Deliver rigorous onboarding curriculum ensuring mastery of software applications.
- Teach high-level nuances including Strategic Social Selling, value-based calling, and BANT+ qualification standards.
- Provide coaching for junior-level SDRs.
- Write and teach industry-specific scripts and messaging to entice target audiences.
- Collaborate with firmwide resources (Sales Enablement, Market Intelligence, Sales Operations, Marketing) to bring new processes and training to the team.
- Reporting and Metrics Tracking (10%)
- Track SDR opportunities from booked meetings to occurrence, opportunity conversion, and final revenue.
- Manage tagging standards and interfirm requirements.
- Create and communicate commission criteria for qualifying meetings.
- Ensure proactive and timely management of incentive requirements and processing.
- Present metric achievement transparently to firm leadership.
- Departmental Administrative Support and Miscellaneous Tasks (10%)
- Manage staff PTO, coverage needs, performance reviews, and other HR-related duties.
- Validate compensation monthly in cooperation with Sales Operations.
- Assist in filling new requisitions or backfilling roles with Talent Acquisition and Sales Leadership.
- Influence morale and turnover through structured career development and team support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree focused on business development, management, or a related business field.
- Five years of prior relevant work experience in the B2B space, with three of those in sales management.
- Prior team management experience mandatory.
- Extensive experience with business development software applications.
- Salesforce and ZoomInfo experience highly preferred.
- Well-versed in people management, metrics, and KPIs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective project and time management skills.
Pay
- Chicago, IL: $98,000 to $148,520
- Madison, WI and Milwaukee, WI: $84,000 to $135,020
Actual compensation is influenced by skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
