Sales Design Consultant

Required Skills/Knowledge Of Elegant Designs, a division of Penco Corporation, is seeking a Sales/Design Consultant. Penco Corporation has been a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC and plumbing supplies for over 70 years. Elegant Designs is a full functioning showroom that specializes in luxury kitchen and bath products for any home. The ideal Sales/Design Consultant candidate will possess the following: Ability to troubleshoot customer problemsMaintain showroom and all displaysHandle telephone inquiries and ordersResolve customer problems involving merchandise, design questions, product returns, repairs, warranty, etc.Develop and maintain customer relationshipsAssist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise using product and design knowledgeMaintain knowledge of all product offerings available through Elegant DesignsUse order entry system to accurately enter product information for orderingFollow up as required on sales transactions to ensure correct product order, changes, product availability, ship dateEffectively use Microsoft Office productivity software including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Minimum Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Retail Sales or Customer Service Experience in home design, architectural design or home construction Ability to provide exceptional customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong sales aptitude Must be flexible, organized and self-motivating Must demonstrate attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insurance Experience Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
