Sales Design Consultant
About the role
Closets by Design is hiring designers/sales representatives to help customers organize their homes. We provide pre-set appointments with clients close to your home, complete sales and design training, and ongoing mentorship. No prior experience is necessary.
This is a hybrid remote position with an open and flexible schedule. You will work close to home with no cold calling required.
Responsibilities
- Begin sales routes with pre-set appointments (all leads and marketing materials provided).
- Build rapport with customers to understand their organizational needs.
- Walk through the home to assess opportunities for custom solutions.
- Educate customers on our products and services (custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more).
- Follow sales training and use communication skills to assist residential customers with their home organizational needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No degree, certification, or prior sales experience needed.
- Growth mindset with willingness to complete 12-week paid sales training.
- Reliable access to a motor vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- Coachable and eager to learn.
