Join La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries as a Sales Consultant. This role combines your passion for modern luxury with a competitive drive to earn unlimited earnings. You'll guide high-end clients through a premium sales experience, creating inspired spaces with world-class furniture and décor.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La-Z-Boy
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve established sales goals
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable experience to all customers
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs
• Support the Design program by scheduling professional home consultations and presenting customized room designs
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer issues and complaints
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all store employees and assist in training and development
• Achieve store sales goals and maintain the store's operational excellence

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions, and objectives
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
• Pass background and drug screen

Pay

• Base Pay: $13 / hour (varies by store location)
• Earn more with uncapped commission on sales (2% - 6% based on sales type)
• Quarterly bonus opportunity of up to $3,500, based on individual sales goals

Schedule

Nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing and listening. Often required to sit, walk, bend and stoop. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Ability to pass background and drug screen.
