Sales Consultant

Main Responsibilities

• Meet with company-supplied leads and identify other prospects utilizing creative self-generating lead techniques to facilitate the customer acquisition process.
• Use strong math skills to calculate price quotes, discounts, and percentages.
• Deliver interactive sales presentations on our solutions and services to decision-makers at their homes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Marketing regarding new product and competitive information and communicating field and quality issues.
• Attend trade shows, as necessary.
• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned sales territory.
• Traveling within the territory to meet with potential and current customers face-to-face.
• Making sales by meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy.
• Maintaining accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales.
• Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence.
• Researching competitors’ products and market conditions.
• Staying informed about industry developments through meetings and events.
• Strategically negotiating with customers to close sales.

Required Skills / Abilities

• A self-motivated, driven, direct-sales-oriented individual.
• Understand the customer's needs, develop an agreeable solution, document all project specifics, and provide follow-up with the customer to the point of price presentation and final paperwork.
• A safe driving record and reliable transportation.
