About the Role

As the Sales & Client Relations Coordinator in Columbia, you are the face of Crisp for our Midlands clients—the person who turns an inquiry into an unforgettable event. This role is built for someone with a sharp eye for design who loves guiding clients toward an elevated vision and ensuring every detail is executed at the highest level. You will own client relationships from the first conversation through event day, curating premium selections, upselling the luxury vision, and maintaining Crisp’s standard: the best, not the biggest. We win clients with our execution, details, and experience—not with the cheapest price or the longest inventory list. This person must understand and embody Crisp’s mission and values, proudly promoting them to every client.

Responsibilities

  • Design-Led Sales & Client Experience (50%)
    • Serve as the face of Crisp for incoming calls, emails, and showroom visits, guiding clients through a polished, design-forward selection process.
    • Build quotes and proposals that present a cohesive aesthetic vision—not just a list of line items.
    • Upsell and curate premium inventory, upgrades, and design details, helping clients see and invest in the luxury vision for their event.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with repeat clients, planners, venues, and design partners.
    • Lead showroom consultations and design reviews that reflect Crisp's highest standard of taste and presentation.
    • Follow up promptly on every proposed and booked event to keep the client experience seamless.
  • Event Oversight & Execution (25%)
    • Attend planning meetings with clients and venue staff to lock in logistics and design details.
    • Maintain a consistent presence on-site during key pre-event setups to ensure the finished look matches the client's vision and Crisp's standard.
    • Partner with warehouse and operations teams to confirm every detail is executed correctly.
    • Keep accurate, detailed records of each event from proposal through teardown.
  • Administration & Brand (25%)
    • Use the company software system to record proposal and booking details, track inventory, and flag future conflicts.
    • Assist with daily office operations, including opening and closing as needed.
    • Contribute to client-gift programs, thank-you touches, and other client-retention initiatives.
    • Represent Crisp at community, industry, and design-partner events (e.g., NACE, local chambers, bridal and venue networks).
    • Help cultivate and protect the Crisp brand and aesthetic across the Midlands market.
