About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California or Denver, Colorado. This role involves growing our customer base through outbound sales efforts and supporting our account executives.
Responsibilities
- Taking on a mix of sales activities including tele-prospecting efforts for various targeted leads, developing a future outbound calling strategy, and managing data and activity within the Webconnex sales systems.
- Generating a minimum of 25 potential opportunities per month for our senior sales team through outbound calls and emails.
- Following up with webinar attendees and reaching out to stalled deals to re-engage.
- Utilizing our CRM and other tools to prospect via phone and email, follow-up, nurture, and qualify leads.
- Maintaining industry and technology knowledge to remain a trusted resource for prospects and customers and successfully managing and overcoming prospect objections.
- Developing and maintaining daily plans to maximize phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to, and customizing phone scripts.
- Pursuing opportunities that go beyond the job description to enhance our customers' experiences.
Requirements
- Experience in sales, preferably in outside sales, business to business sales, and tele-prospecting.

Qualifications
- $45,000 - $55,000 annual base salary. $90,000 - $100,000 OTE.

Schedule
This role is hybrid, with office Tues-Thurs and remote Mondays and Fridays. We also host frequent trips throughout the year to bring the team together for extended face-to-face time.
