Sales Associate, Venice Beach (Part-Time)

About the Role

Away is hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Venice Beach team. Our Retail team creates a transformative experience for every customer, ensuring world-class service standards and operational excellence. This role is an opportunity to join a celebrated brand and foster a stronger Away community through in-person interactions.

Part-time employees must be available to work at least 16 hours per week, including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). All employees are expected to adhere to Away’s Blackout Period expectations. Scheduling accommodations can be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Embody Away’s brand standards and core values by delivering best-in-class, exceptional customer service to every person, every time.
• Create personalized and memorable experiences for customers, driving community and connection through a shared love of travel.
• Consistently meet individual KPI expectations and sales goals.
• Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise, guiding customers through an Away-focused shopping and sales journey.
• Uphold store integrity and visual standards.
• Facilitate in-store programs and events as needed.
• Assist with processes and procedures to ensure optimal store operations.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with a passion for retail, customer service, and/or hospitality.
• Reliability, effectiveness, and a commitment to contributing to business success.
• Resourcefulness, solution-oriented mindset, and dedication to achieving goals.
• Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout a work shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach for extended periods during a shift.
