About The Role

Responsibilities

• Ensure all customers and donors' needs are met with a genuine greeting and courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items ready to be merchandised on the sales floor.
• Affix to the maintenance of the store and donation area to keep it clean, neat, and organized.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned by management.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required Monthly Store Meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect products for defects and damages and provide quality assurance.
• Courteously assist donors in removing donated items from their vehicle and provide receipts.
• Separate and sort all donated materials into the proper containers and stack them as instructed by management.
• Perform other written and/or verbal duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be capable of handling POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Pass a background check, which includes a criminal history and sex offender registry.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Physical Demands

• Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform various repetitive motion tasks.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

Stores operate 7 days per week, from 9am to 8pm. Work schedules are determined by management and associates must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time associates may be scheduled to work any part-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
