Donation Attendant FT - Salvation Army Thrift Store-Parker, Co $15.87/Hour

Essential Job Duties

• Maintain and clean up the area in and around the donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Courteously assist the donor in the removal of all donated items from the donor’s vehicle and provide receipt.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Separate and sort all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by Supervisor.
• Aid TSA drivers/PAs with loading donations on to trucks as necessary.
• Inform Supervisor of needed items prior to running out (i.e.: brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.).
• Secure and lock the area at the end of each shift.
• Maintain good working relations with property or store managers.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time, by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Required: Ability to communicate effectively with employees and donors.
• Required: Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Required: Ability to provide good customer service to donors.
• Preferred: Previous customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, stoop, crouch, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to lift, carry, reach, push and pull.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25-50lbs with or without assistance.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
