This role is based at the Colonie Center store location.

About the Role

Express is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Keyholder to deliver an outstanding in-store shopping experience while executing opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures, including balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system.
• Perform overrides at checkout as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait time.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determining resolutions or escalating as needed, and communicating all issues to Store Management.
• Drive participation in credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer enrollment.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant job experience (minimum 6 months).
• Proficient in the use of technology (e.g., iPad, registers).
• Must meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Must meet physical requirements of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Pay

Pay Range: $15.50 - $20.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered is dependent upon factors including work location, education, relevant skills, and experience.
