About the Role
Express is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Keyholder to join the team at Valley Fair Mall. This role provides a great in-store shopping experience for customers and executes opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs opening and closing procedures, such as balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system.
- Performs overrides at checkout as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure the store is safe and inviting.
- Follows company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all associates and customers.
- Assists with product launch changes according to company SOPs.
- Delivers on all aspects of the customer experience model.
- Processes transactions quickly and accurately, reducing customer wait time.
- Resolves customer service-related issues positively and escalates when necessary, communicating all issues and resolutions to Store Management.
- Drives credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer participation.
- Performs other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant job experience (minimum 6 months).
- Proficient in the use of technology (iPad, registers).
- Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Meets physical requirements of the role.
Skills
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Pay
Actual compensation offered is dependent upon factors including work location, education, relevant skills, and experience. Pay range: $18.70 - $25.00 per hour.
