About the role

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Management team with register transactions, handling cash, credit card, and non‑cash payments to ensure accuracy and security.
• Work with the Retail Management team to establish and maintain customer service standards, ensuring compliance with the company mission and providing a pleasant shopping experience.
• Assist store staff in stocking shelves and clothing racks to maximize shopping opportunities for customers.
• Support team building by exemplifying the mission to reveal Christ to staff, donors, and customers.
• Live out the mission to Reveal, Tell, & Provide and uphold core values of being Trustworthy, Team‑Minded, and Teachable.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 100% of a standard work day.
• Lift and bend for up to 75% of a standard work day; moderate to heavy physical activity, including frequent strenuous activity.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong command of English.
• Commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
• Basic computer skills: typing and web browsing.
• Ability to interpret and follow written or oral instructions and goals.

Pay

Hourly wage range: $13.00 – $14.00.

Schedule

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; some Saturdays required. Employees receive every Sunday off.
