JOB PURPOSE:The Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA’s retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience. DUTIES: Build good relationships with NAPA customers.Greet customers and demonstrate ability to quickly understand needs.Secure correct parts and resolving issues for customers.Maintain appearance of store and displays.Assist in receiving/stocking incoming merchandise. Previous retail sales experience preferred.GED preferred.Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively. *This is not a complete list of responsibilities.
