Sales Associate

Summary

A Sales Associate supports the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. The role represents the brand, operates professionally, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assistance over other tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to build sales and minimize returns, including Loyalty Programs.
• Exercise sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the point of sale.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standards.
• Guarantee company assets by adhering to all loss prevention procedures.
• Proactively contribute to a flexible and enjoyable team atmosphere.
• Constructively share suggestions, ideas, and concerns with store leadership.
• Embrace responsibility for assigned tasks and perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and continuously; safely lift up to 50 lb without restrictions.
• Reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product for customer service, inventory restock, shipment processing, and merchandising.
• Stand/walk for extended periods.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning.
• Use and climb ladders or step stools.
• Perform repetitive motions (e.g., hanging, folding, ringing up customers).
• Exercise caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless individuals, or transients.
• Noise level is typically moderate to loud.
• Adult‑content environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
