SALES ASSOCIATE

Gorsuch is a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience in offering exceptional merchandise and services. We strive to be the best in everything we do and are currently seeking a Sales Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Engage and connect with customers by providing the highest level of service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to educate, inspire, and outfit our clientele.
• Work with the team to maintain a customer-ready store, including sizing, straightening, and light cleaning.
• Develop clientele and have a passion for fashion.
• Adhere to store safety policies and procedures.
• Aids in the locking and securing of the store at opening and closing times.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Previous experience in luxury retail sales, home furnishings and gifts, customer service, or related fields.
• Skilled communication in English (Spanish a plus).
• Must be able to multitask and work in a busy environment.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and customers.
• Comfortable working with POS and other inventory systems.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work with many different teams and people.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $25- $30 hourly. The rate of pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday: 9am to 6pm or 10 am to 7pm
Summer: Sunday through Thursday: 9am to 6pm or 10 am to 7pm
Summer: 8 hrs. per day excluding breaks (full-time year-round)
7.5 hrs. per day excluding breaks (part-time seasonal)
