Sales Assistant - Eide Subaru

About the role

Eide Mandan Subaru is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who values customer service and is seeking a long-term career opportunity. Automotive sales experience is not necessary; however, previous experience in sales or customer service-related industries is helpful. We offer an extensive initial training program covering our processes, product knowledge, and the skills necessary to be successful in today’s automotive industry. Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers professionally via phone, text, email, and in person.
• Build rapport with customers while at the dealership.
• Confirm appointments and prepare vehicles for appointments.
• Prepare vehicles for demonstration drives, including warming up vehicles, filling them with gas, and ensuring they are clean and presentable.
• Conduct vehicle demonstration drives with customers and explain vehicle features and technology professionally.
• Organize necessary paperwork for customers and Eide staff.
• Transport vehicles to the wash bay facility.
• Deliver sold vehicles to customers and further explain vehicle features and technology professionally.
• Transport customer vehicles for accessories installation.
• Resolve customer issues and problems professionally.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Available to work mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Background in sports or other competitive environments is a plus.
• Experience with commission-based sales preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
