Part-time office assistant with one of southern Minnesotas leading multimedia companies! Adams Multimedia and the Caledonia Argus are seeking a fast-thinking and highly organized part-time office assistant to support our newsroom and business operations. Candidate will handle administrative duties, manage reader and subscriber inquiries, and assist editorial and advertising teams in a deadline-driven environment, along with other duties as assigned. Starting salary will be $16/hr. Main Duties And Tasks Include Newsroom Support: Direct tips, press releases, and breaking news calls to the correct editors or reporters. Subscriber Relations: Answer phones to handle subscription renewals, delivery issues, and general reader feedback. Public Notices & Obituaries: Format, log, and process incoming obituary notices and public legal announcements. Archiving & Research: Maintain the newspaper's physical clipping library and digital story archive. Ad Coordination: Help the sales team process advertising 7 insertion orders and sort billing paperwork. ~; y Skills Needed Excellent communication and phone etiquette under tight time constraints. Strong digital skills, including database management and basic content platforms. High school diploma or equivalent (media or journalism coursework is a plus).
