About the role
The purpose of this position is to assist with daily sales activities while learning about our products, sales process, and company culture. This will be achieved by working closely with the sales manager and other departments to efficiently complete all steps of the sales process. The aim of this position is to learn the skills and knowledge needed to successfully transition into a full-time retail sales rep position.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the retail sales manager and sales administrators to learn and assist with daily sales responsibilities.
- May include clerical work, maintaining our CRM and DMS systems, preparing items for tradeshows, and assisting with local deliveries.
- Exposure to various aspects of Davey Coach to prepare for becoming a sales rep.
- Typical hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Some travel to California and Indiana locations may be required, including weekend travel (maybe once or twice per year).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Must also have (or be capable of obtaining) a Colorado Commercial Driver’s License, Class C with passenger and air brake endorsements.
- Operation of Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Office are imperative.
- The ability to absorb and develop product knowledge is crucial to success.
- An attention for detail is a requirement.
- A patient and person with a strong engineering background is beneficial.
Qualifications
