Sales and Use Tax Manager

Responsibilities
- Work on multiple complex tax engagements
- Contribute to innovative sales and use tax planning for diverse clients
- Manage and mentor a team of sales and use tax professionals
- Lead complex Indirect tax audits, managed audits, and recovery of tax overpayments (reverse audits)
- Prepare complex tax research projects for clients in various industries
- Identify and analyze complex tax issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA, CMI, or JD
- 5+ years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm, tax services firm, or similar industry
- Experience with indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
Benefits
