Sales and Service Representative Registry (60178)
About the Role
As a Sales and Service Representative Registry, you will provide sales and service to members in the areas of membership, reservations, and other branch products and services both in-person and over-the-phone. In select states, you will provide registry services and ensure compliance with state regulations. You will achieve assigned standards for sales and referrals, recommend club products and services, and embody the club’s mission and value statements in all interactions.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual position-related performance metrics while achieving member satisfaction scores to support a positive and high-quality member experience.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of AAA Northeast products and services, applying the Five Diamond Service process, cross-selling techniques, and club training to educate members on available benefits and key performance indicators.
- Stay current on branch and registry-related promotions and initiatives, recognizing opportunities to improve individual sales effectiveness and overall operational performance.
Member Service
- Promote and sell memberships, including upgrades, auto-renewal, and digital membership, using technology and product knowledge.
- Promote the AAA credit card program, business line referrals, and other club initiatives.
- Process changes to existing memberships and assist members with questions or issues.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and complete information to members regarding club products and services while maintaining department service standards.
- Provide service to members both in-person and over-the-phone, supporting club partnerships, including Registry Services, TSA, and other applicable offerings.
- In select locations, provide registry and/or TSA services by handling and processing confidential documents, entering data into required databases, and reviewing applications for completeness in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist with travel-related services, including accommodations, mapping, routing, hotel or car rental reservations, and promotions for International and InterAmerican Driving Permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets, and entertainment tickets.
- Actively listen to uncover member needs and concerns through professional conversations that build trust and understanding.
- Maintain respect, discretion, and alignment with AAA Northeast privacy, security, and service standards.
Daily Operations
- Act as a liaison with internal departments, including Travel, Insurance, Membership, Finance, IT, and Member Relations, to coordinate information and support resolution of member and departmental issues.
- Perform all job duties in accordance with department policies, procedures, and practices within defined scope of authority, including consistent adherence to all club and department safety and security protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience with a focus in sales.
- Must satisfactorily pass state-specific and federal background checks during pre- and post-hiring in accordance with state and federal requirements.
- Must meet individual state requirements to perform registry and/or TSA services, including clearing federal/state-specific background checks/processes.

Pay
Competitive base pay with annual bonus opportunities. For certain roles, additional monthly and/or quarterly incentive compensation is available. The posted salary range represents the full range grade for this role, with individual pay based on job-related skills, experience, shift, and geographic location.
