About the role

Responsibilities
- Builds strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborates with team members to drive branch sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the bank.
- Engages customers with digital platforms to enhance customer interactions and educate them on self-service options.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels.
- Performs teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintains accurate cash drawer balances and assists with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
Qualifications
- 12+ Months Experience selling products and/or services OR 6+ Months Experience in Retail Banking sales, financial services sales or consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new customers, deepening customer relationships and delivering results OR 6+ Months Demonstrated successful Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Sales and Service Banker role. District Executive, District Operations Manager and Region President endorsement of performance.
- 6+ Months Customer service experience within a high volume, fast paced and constantly changing environment.
- 6+ Months Cash handling experience.
- Established relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Experience in cross-selling products and services.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, consultative and influence skills both verbal and written.
- Able to display a credible, trustworthy, and professional image at all times.
- Proficient in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Able to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Able to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
