About the role

In this individual contributor role, you will act as the first line of support, diving deep into customer issues and problem-solving in real time to ensure customer loyalty and strengthen the Spectrum brand.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer calls, actively listening to and investigating customers’ concerns.
- Improve customer satisfaction and build loyalty by turning challenging experiences into positive ones.
- Identify and present product and service bundles and solutions to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Up to 1 year of sales experience required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; demonstrated working knowledge of cable communications products and services to include video (TV), data (internet) and voice (telephone); ability to work variable hours; effective computer and consumer electronics skills; proven verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle irate customers and resolve issues; ability to prioritize and organize effectively.

- Proactive engagement with current customers to understand their needs and ensure their continued satisfaction.
- Demonstration of the ongoing value of our products and services, as well as new features or solutions that align with the customer’s needs.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills to overcome objections for those considering canceling or downgrading services.
- Upselling or cross-selling opportunities, creating and presenting product and service bundles and solutions.
