About the role
As an essential member of our sales team, you will play a key role in the growth and expansion of our three business units (2 foundries and 1 machining facility).
Responsibilities
- Prospect new potential clients and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and retain the existing client account portfolio
- Promote and sell the various production capabilities of the business units according to the commercial strategy
- Listen to our clients and identify their needs to propose appropriate solutions
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Participate in trade shows, events, and training related to commercial activities
- Use the CRM effectively to document activities and track business opportunities
- Identify and qualify new opportunities with clients based on the sales filters of each business unit
- Collaborate with sales team members to align business development efforts with the company’s overall objectives
- Monitor market trends, competition, and future client needs to suggest strategic adjustments to management
- Present regular reports to management on performance and progress in business development
- Collaborate and communicate with various departments within the business units to facilitate the relationship between our clients and internal teams
Requirements
- University degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Relevant experience in sales and business development within the manufacturing sector
- Must be able to travel to Canada when required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly grasp the technical aspects of various manufacturing processes (foundry and machining)
- Strong listening skills, customer focus, and ability to build trust-based relationships
- Autonomy, attention to detail, and perseverance in achieving goals
- Proficiency in computer tools and CRM systems
